Shopping Thrifty
If you are into saving money and finding deals and not too proud to buy someone else’s discards then I have a website for you! I have always been a thrift store shopper and even remember going to the Goodwill and the Salvation Army Thrift Store when I was very little with my mother. We would sometimes spend hours browsing the store and finding things to purchase. My favorite day was 50 cent Saturdays at the Salvation Army Thrift Store where you could find designer clothes NWT (new with tag) for 50 cents! Sadly, I have not found any Salvation Army Thrift Stores that still have a 50 cent day.
My daughter told me about this website and it helps you find Thrift Stores pretty much anywhere in the US. I have been living in the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts now for over 10 years and although I am familiar with a few of the thrift stores in the area, I was not aware that there were over 15 thrift stores within 14 miles of my house! The website gives you the name of the store, the address, the phone number, their hours and even has a link to their website if they have one. Visitors may even rate the stores on 6 areas including organization and cleanliness and can leave comments about the store.
