Divorced? A single parent?\u00a0 Does it matter how many children you have (or don\u2019t have)?\u00a0 How much money you make in a year? How much debt you have?\u00a0 How much money you have saved or invested?\u00a0 The car you drive? \u00a0The number of vacations you take each year?\u00a0 If you own or rent your home?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What you think determines the \u201cAverage American Family\u201d may differ from what I think is the Average American Family or what your neighbor or friend thinks is the Average American Family.\u00a0 Regardless of what anyone thinks makes up the \u201cAverage American Family,\u201d the one thing we are all concerned with is money.\u00a0 Are we making enough? Are we saving enough?\u00a0 Can I afford the deductible on my health insurance? \u00a0Will we be able to put our child\/ren through college?\u00a0 Will we have enough to retire?\u00a0 When will we be able to take a vacation? What will I do if my car finally dies? We all feel the pressure at some point during our lives to make more money or find ways to save more money.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Health concerns are another thing everyone has in common.\u00a0 We all have to eat and we often worry, am I eating healthy enough?\u00a0 Could I be making healthier food choices?\u00a0 Does healthy food have to taste like cardboard?\u00a0 Our fitness levels\u2026Am I getting enough exercise?\u00a0 I never have time to exercise.\u00a0 I am too tired to exercise.\u00a0 The numbers our doctors look at to determine our health, good and bad cholesterol levels, blood pressure, weight, sugar levels, BMI, and anything else they can look at.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Time. Now there\u2019s a big one. Who ever feels like they have enough time? Nowadays most people try to cram in so many things in one day and with the advance of technology, there is never any down time. So time-saving tips are another thing we hope to share (and discover!).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And let\u2019s not forget fun!\u00a0 Life is not very enjoyable if we do not take some time out of it to have fun and relax with our family and friends. \u00a0Go on vacation and have adventures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My siblings and I started this blog because each one of us thinks we are part of an \u201cAverage American Family\u201d.\u00a0 We wanted to talk about the different items that interest each of us.\u00a0 Topics will range from saving money and finding good deals to health related issues to trying to save time to fun outings and quite probably random thoughts about just about anything you can think of!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We welcome you to join us on this new adventure as we journey through the triumphs, trials, and joys of being part of an Average American Family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What determines you are part of an \u201cAverage American Family\u201d?\u00a0 Is it whether or not you are married or single?
